We had a 60-year age difference in our group this morning, which I thought was pretty cool! Adam G brought is 12-year-old son Leo along, and of course young Leo creamed it. And Johnny Alpine pulled his weight as well as he represented the older category with distinction. Bravo to you both!
Along for their first experience of ‘Alpine’ was Tim and Jamie from Sheffield. They had a great morning and now that they know where we are we look forward to seeing them again in the future.
The forecast is showing snow for tomorrow but not until mid-morning. It won’t make tomorrow’s skiing any easier but should hopefully help for the rest of the week.
I’m now preparing for a relegation ‘6-pointer’ as the Hammers host Nottingham Forest. It’s do-or-die time now and if West Ham lose today it will be the end of David Moyes. What a cruel sport!
And a big happy birthday to Flo!
PS Last night’s gig was superb as usual. I thought the playlist was brilliant as Karen and Andreas opened with Careless Whispers and just built it up from there. There was a fantastic ‘Alpine’ presence and a great time was had by all.
