The sun was shining again today, and it was significantly warmer than yesterday. We’ve another few days of sunshine ahead before snow is forecast for the weekend. Mind you 50 cm’s was expected last weekend and received a dusting so who know? Fingers crossed as we are in seriously need of snow as the snowpack is extremely thin. We’ve had good skiing, and made the best of the situation, but we need help and the sooner the better!
Simon is in town so we can play ‘Where’s Wayne?’ as far as our skiing went today. It was about as good as we could have done so I was pleased with our results.
JM, Chris, Andreas, Thomas and Jerome were all in action today and we are quite busy for this time of year. And all the boys are doing their best to put on a good show in limited conditions.
We had a cracking night in the Danois last night listening to Ed and Jamie. My friend Peter has just started to learn to play the electric guitar from scratch, so he was particularly interested in watching Ed strut his stuff. Dawn came along as did Derek, Paul, Andy N and Tchenko.
We’ve also been watching the football, and so far, it’s been a wonderful World Cup. It’s nitty-gritty time now as the tension seriously mounts from here on in.
Thanks to Jean Marc for a fabulous meal last night of regional produce and specialties from the Pyrenees. Wow!!!
