After a few days in Val d’Isere and the Fornet it was time for a change of scenery so we headed towards Tignes and the first Sachette of the season. The main slopes of the Sachette were full of rocks and not easy to reach so we skied the couloir instead, which had great snow and ambience and the big slopes below were excellent as well. It was good skiing top-to-bottom and mission accomplished for seeing another part of our wonderful domain. (See photos)
I aggravated my ribs today and along with my hip I’m hobbling about and Chris is limping as well as he did a serious job pulling his calf muscle a couple of days ago. It looks like we have a another five or six days of sunshine ahead of us before it snows again and having good visibility certainly helps when you’re hurting!
Katie and I are off to the Garage this afternoon for Liverpool and Wolves, and it should be a fantastic match as Wolves are one of the most dangerous teams in the league. Stay tuned!
