With each passing day it gets a little bit tougher, but the boys continue to find great skiing. There is a change of weather coming, and hopefully it will bring some much needed snow. Flat-light is forecast for tomorrow morning and fingers crossed we’ll get some snow tonight.
Today I headed up towards the Crete du Genepy for a change of scenery. Our regular slopes had already been skied so I chose a line through the rocks that I haven’t skied for a few years. (see photos) It was good enough that we ‘skinned’ back up to ski the line next door. From there we ‘skinned’ back up for 5 minutes to access the meadows back down towards the Grand Pre, and then skied piste home.
Pietro arrived at my place last night and he ended up skiing with us this morning. It was great to have him along, and Pietro starts tomorrow morning.
Jean Marc and Chris were out on a day trip around the Charvet, Andreas headed towards Tignes while Thomas and Jerome are still working with the Ski Club.
Don’t forget that Karen and Andreas are playing apres-ski at the Danois on Friday. It’s going to be fantastic and I look forward to seeing you there!
