After a busy day on Saturday it has been extremely quiet and all our regular early-season faithful are being rewarded with great snow conditions and very few people on the mountain. It’s like having your own private resort and this early-season time is one of my favourite periods of the entire winter. Thomas, Andreas, Jean Marc and I were all in action and everyone had another brilliant morning. I had a new first-time Alpine skier named Sasha, who is French but lives in Tel Aviv, and he had a great intro to Alpine this morning and we look forward to seeing more of him in the future, while Thomas had a new Frenchman who is learning to ski off-piste this week in preparation for a month-long trip to Japan in January.
It looks as if we have another few days of sunshine ahead of us and although we’ve had a little wind that has worked over the snow in places we still have plenty of great skiing to keep us going until the next top-up.
I’m a bit rushed as I’ve a lot to do at the moment because I’ve decided to paint my apartment( I may regret that idea), plus I still need to clear my terrace of snow, the car still needs to be unpacked,and I’m now off to the STVI for the girls forfaits en route to the gym. Stay tuned!
