I must say we took it very easy today with some fantastic piste skiing, a little technique, some gentle off-piste in pretty good snow and a short ‘skin’ and with the sun beating down without a cloud in sight it was a very pleasant morning. Andreas and Henry had the day off while Chris, Thomas and I all skied around Tignes and we had some jolly decent left-overs and an enjoyable morning. (see photos)
Thanks to Dave Carr who invited me to his place last night to watch a fabulous Liverpool youth team of teenagers take on the full grown men of Everton in a cracking match and thanks also to Michael for a great seafood pasta at his place afterwards. Thanks boys for a terrific afternoon/evening!
Happy Belated Birthday to Peter H who turned sixty-something yesterday and good luck to my great golfing friend Paul who is having his hip replaced tomorrow. I’ll be thinking of you!!!!
