I’ve started to settle in back in the UK after another superb season where the weather was kind for the most part, the snow was excellent although we endured a couple of tough patches, and we had some new clients mix in with our regular faithful’s. I thoroughly enjoyed the music scene, which enhanced my winter months enormously and I drove back to the UK with a huge smile on my face.
I’ll miss the Guinea Pigs next season but the emergence of Karen and Andreas onto the scene will give me something to look forward to every Friday apres-ski as they were fantastic and improved each and every week. It will be interesting to see how they progress over the summer when they’ll have time to practice and work on new songs so that first gig in early December promises to be fantastic.
And what about the last two nights of football! Sport just doesn’t get any more dramatic than Liverpool’s stunning comeback against the mighty Barcelona and to have that atmosphere followed up 24-hours later in Amsterdam was truly incredible. I had to settle for listening to both games on the radio but I won’t be missing the All-England final.
Stay tuned for periodic updates during the summer and thanks for your support over the winter.
