I was planning on another ‘Charvet’ day like Chris and I had a couple of days ago but with low hanging cloud coming up the valley I switched sectors to stay in the sun. After a good Epaule du Charvet and an excellent lower Banane the sea-of-cloud was coming up the valley so I headed to the Grande Motte via the Campanules where we skied two great runs off my shoulder before finishing with the Familial. Andreas headed to Tignes and skied the Chardonnet and after being put off with the clouds Chris and Henry both ended up in Tignes and skied the Chardonnet as well. Thomas hung in there and after the Banane skied the Tour du Charvet and the Face du Charvet to finish. By the time Thomas arrived on the Face the clouds had finally dispersed so he was rewarded with a great finish.
I’m tidying up as the girls arrive tomorrow and thank goodness I finally took the Christmas tree down yesterday! Next up is to shovel the terrace so Gill has a sun pit.
Don’t forget the Danois tonight between 5:15 and 5:30 for my favourite two hours of the week with Karen and Andreas. See you there!!!
