After about five days up at the Fornet it was time to head to Tignes today and what a great finish it was for both Derek and Barnaby. It was a bit of an in-between day snow-wise as the spring snow is in transformation but we managed a nice blend of Spring and powder. We had a nice test off the Verte in perfectly smooth supporting snow, which led to an excellent Little Lavachet. From there we skied the Sachette Couloir in powder followed by warm powder towards the bottom. The pistes were so good we skied hard on the pistes to finish the morning and then went for a ‘team’ beer.
Don’t forget Karen and Andreas at 4:30 at the Coin des Amis. The sun is shining and it promises to be a brilliant ‘last gig’ of the season.
With the sun shining all day today the spring snow should set up nicely for a fantastic finish tomorrow and the forecast is for a stunning day ahead! Stay tuned for the last blog of the season!
