After a tough but fun day yesterday we all headed towards the Fornet for a change of scenery and some solitude as it’s pretty busy in Tignes. Some is forecast for tonight and tomorrow so today was the last chance for some to take in the ambience at the Fornet, and we had some pretty good skiing as well. It was a mix of soufflé doux, soufflé dur, a few pockets of frisset, a couple of pitches of proper powder, and a few patches of some fairly nasty snow to keep us honest. (See photos)
I thought of David today as we skied the Lower Combe du Signal. Cheers David as all your friends and family are thinking of you!
I’m off to the gym to stretch out and after a hectic day yesterday this evening promises to be much quieter, although Katie and I are planning on watching the Leicester v Liverpool match tonight. Stay tuned for more news tomorrow!
