After yesterday’s trip to the Fornet I headed straight back to Tignes this morning. I was travelling light with just Penny and Walter and we had an cracking good morning. Being Saturday the pistes were empty and we found some really nice snow as well. (See photos)
I was the only one working today so it was a little lonely at the Gourmandine this morning. Both Chris and Andreas will be back in action tomorrow so I’ll have some company for pre-ski coffee.
Last night’s gig was absolutely brilliant. Both Karen and Andreas were on top form and it was thoroughly entertaining. It was Roy and Chris W’s first trip to the Danois and they were raving about their evening.
Karen’s son Leo came to watch his mum last night and he had a massive grin on his face. He was so proud of her and gave Karen the most incredible hug at the end of the night. It was lovely to witness as it was one of the best embraces I’ve ever seen!
Speaking of Roy and Chris W. Happy Birthday Roy and many happy returns. And we say good-bye for now to Chris W. Chris has skied with me for the past two weeks. It’s his first-time with ‘Alpine’ and he’s loved every minute of it. And it’s not just the skiing but about how he’s made some great new friends. We look forward to seeing you again Chris later in the season!
I’m off for a tense afternoon with Johnnie Alpine has his Man U crew host the Hammers. Come on boys!
