It was a bonus ski for Gill this morning as the girls arrived last night. And what a morning it was! Chris and I ‘skinned’ to the Glacier Pers and skied wonderful snow top to bottom. (see photos)
I was a little weary after the drive to Lyon and back last night but we managed to get to bed about 1:30AM. It’s been a long season and fairly tough for the most part so it has been fatiguing. (Covid hasn’t helped) But with all the tricky conditions we’ve finished late more often than during a vintage winter. I didn’t get home until 2 o’clock today and Chris was even later. But instead of our habitual difficult conditions we were skiing fantastic snow!
Andreas headed off to the Col des Fours this morning while Henry was skiing off the Motte. I’m not too sure what Thomas and the Parker family skied today but they been having a brilliant time. And Jerome is working for us again this week.
Don’t forget the Revolverlites are playing at the Danois today at 5:30. Followed by The Lunettes on Thursday and Karen and Andreas on Friday. See you there!
We should have one more sunny day tomorrow before the snow returns. Stay tuned!
