Bright Enough!!!

Chris and I were expecting a flat-light day and although it was overcast we had pretty decent visibility during the morning. We skied beautifully groomed piste into Tignes before heading into the Sachette. I skied the diagonal couloir skiers-right of the main Sachette Couloir while Chris took the Sachette Couloir and we then had a couple of little ‘skins’ and the snow was surprisingly good. (see photos) Hopefully we’ll get 5 cm’s tonight and although it wouldn’t be much it would be seriously better than nothing. Fingers crossed!

I went to the Garage for the first half of the Wolves v Liverpool match last night and was seriously impressed by the way Wolves responded after going down 1-nil to an early goal. I said to the lad next to me that Liverpool were going to need more than one goal and Wolves to me look like the best team in the Premiership after Liverpool and City. I’d love to see them win the Europa League and think they have a good chance. I hope Mick Deacy saw the match as he’s been a Wolves fan since he was a kid?

Don’t forget Andreas will be playing with Karen at Le Petit Danois this afternoon starting between 5 and 5:15. I’m looking forward to it and hopefully we’ll have a great Alpine turnout (although the resort is deserted) as well as from the Ski Club. See you there and stay tuned!
