Chris and I decided that is was time for a change of scenery this morning. After avoiding the Fornet for the past week due to strong winds and extreme cold, we dared to go and have a ‘sniff’.
Considering the wind damage we had some pretty good skiing out in the Pays Desert. It was certainly peaceful as there was no on else around and the views were quite stunning. It’s been a few years since we’ve ventured that far out and it was a good trip.
We then tried the Vallonnet as it’s an impressive place with ambiance. Unfortunately it wasn’t nearly as good as I was hoping. It was pretty rough for the most part, but we did manage some frisset and some souffle in places. Usually when you avoid a sector for awhile there is a reason, and on the whole for a ‘change-of-scenery’ morning it wasn’t too bad!
Thomas and Henry were back this morning after a couple of days off and Andreas and Jerome we also on the mountain. All the boys have done a great job during this tough period and bravo to you all!
The Revolverlites are playing at the Danois tonight. I’ve a Pilates class and won’t make it until 7:15 but Millie and Anna will be there to keep Tchenko company.
Stay tuned!
