After a wet and heavy day yesterday we enjoyed cold and light snow today. It was -9C at the summit of Bellevarde this morning and it stayed cold all morning.
There was a pretty strong wind blowing at altitude again today so we had another morning with limited options. But even with very few lifts running we still managed a lot of skiing this morning.
With the wind howling and snow blowing at times I didn’t take too many photos. I have managed a few so do have a look.
Last night’s gig at the Danois was fantastic. Karen was at her outstanding best (which is quite brilliant) while Andreas had a great night on the guitar. His guitar solos were clean and sharp and it was the best I’ve seen him play. The Danois was packed out and we had another big ‘Alpine’ presence. My beau-frere Pav (alias Pete) got up on stage for a guest performance and sang Robbie’s Angel. It was really good fun and unfortunately next Friday will be their last scheduled gig of the season.
The sun is forecast to shine tomorrow and we also have Man City v Liverpool to look forward to! Stay tuned!
PS Adam G’s son Leo came 1st, 5th, and 2nd at the GB Championships. That total was the best score in the Under 12 category. Bravo Leo and congratulations for a stunning performance!!!
