Chris and I decided on a change of scenery and went up to the Fornet. We weren’t expecting too much as we headed out into the Pays Desert but were rewarded for our optimism. It turned out to be a good adventure with great scenery and some excellent snow as well. (See photos) We needed to ‘sniff’ around up top to find strips of snow that skied well. And the bottom half of the descent the snow was deep goblet which skied beautifully. I thought it was a jolly good result as each day gets a little bit trickier.
I’ve a Zoom Pilates class shortly and then I’m off to Johnny Alpine’s later for Tottenham v Liverpool. Hopefully it won’t be called off like most of the other weekend fixtures.
JM has his family here now, Thomas was working on the World Cup and Andreas is with his family.
