It was another fabulous morning of skiing with clear blue skies and superb snow. I had a new team of Alistair, Jeremy, Robert and Peter, who all old university buddies. They’ve continued to meet up on ski and cycling trips over the years and they kicked off their long weekend in style this morning.
I ran into Vilgot and Max, the young Swedes who were skiing with me yesterday, and they were busy studying the terrain to find somewhere suitable to pop some back-flips this afternoon. Blimey! Good luck boys and I hope you make it to the gig tonight!
Chris, Thomas and Andreas were all in the neighbourhood this morning enjoying the outstanding skiing. Jerome and Pietro are still skiing with the Ski Club out of St Foy so I’m not too sure what they skied today.
Fernando was absolutely brilliant last night at the Danois. It’s quite astonishing the music he can produce with just his acoustic guitar with very little looping, his voice and some foot stomping. He has great charisma and is a lot of fun.
Don’t forget Karen and Andreas at the Danois tonight. It promises to be another great gig and we should have an excellent Alpine turn-out. See you there!
