Wow, that was a windy one! Unfortunately we didn’t get a lot of skiing this morning but the highlight was an excellent run in the Combe du Signal from the top. The vis was decent and the snow was incredibly good considering the wind but when we returned to the Pyramid Chair they closed it just in front of us. Thomas was already on board so he got in an extra run.
Yvonne told me his parapenting website was forecasting winds of 150km/h this afternoon so I think I’ll just continue with my housework and stay cosy!
Andreas and Tansy are off to Italy tomorrow for a sneaky little ski holiday together. They’ve never had a ski holiday together before as work is always in the way and let’s hope they get some good conditions. Have a fantastic time! (Mike will be filling in for Andreas with Karen at the Danois this Friday)
It is forecast to snow 20cm’s this afternoon and the sun should make some sort of appearance tomorrow so fingers crossed for a decent morning. Stay tuned!
PS I took a few photos this morning but my fingers were too cold to work the camera in the Combe du Signal, which was my one-and-only photo op as far as skiing went this morning. Sad but true!
