Finally, after a long and at times stressful wait, I picked up my Titre de Sejour this morning! That means I can continue to work and play in France for at least another ten years, so it’s seriously good news!
I didn’t realise that Richard Foster only returned to the UK today. He’s been in the hospital in Switzerland since his accident, but he’s very happy with the way the Swiss have dealt with him. He says that they expect him to make a full recovery, which of course is music to his ears! Good luck with the rehab Richard and I look forward to skiing with you again next season.
I took a few photos of my day, which make a change from ski shots. I’m now getting to know the back streets of Chambery as I’ve been done there quite a few times lately. It’s a pretty funky old town and well signed, which always takes the stress out of trying to find your way around. And for you footie fans, Chambery is the home town of Olivier Giroud, who is one of my favourite players.
Don’t forget Fernando tomorrow night at the Danois and Karen and Andreas on Friday.
Stay tuned!
