Fingers crossed!!!

I’ve just finished packing the car and am ready to leave tomorrow morning at 3:30! I’m hoping for an easy journey as the webcams and Facebook posts are showing an incredible amount of snow falling out of the sky. I had my snow tyres put on yesterday and fingers crossed that I won’t need chains.

I had nine good holes of golf with Nick and Steve Sunday afternoon and then 12 holes in the rain on Monday with Bill and Neil so my golf season has come to a close. It’s so nice to have golf pals who show up rain or shine so thanks very much boys as it’s always a pleasure!Millie had a match-play match on Sunday and after 18 holes they were all square but Millie finally ground out a win on the 19th hole. Good luck in your next match Mils!

I’ve had some dental problems of late and was incredibly relieved to get an emergency appointment to have a tooth extracted on Tuesday afternoon. It would have caused trouble at some time during the season so I was really pleased to get it done.

I’d better get back to cooking as after tonight Gill will be head chef until May! Stay tuned!
