I must say that with the Gill and the girls arriving next Thursday and me being up to my neck in painting while living in a total mess (see photos), and with Christmas presents to wrap, turning the studio around and generally tidying up my life today’s storm and day off couldn’t have been better timed! We all arrived at the Gourmandine ready to go but it was never going to happen as it snowed 30cm’s overnight and it was blowing a gale. Quentin is here for three days only so Chris and Suzanne took him for a ‘skin’ to the treeline at La Daille and after been asked by a pisteur what he thought he was up to he was told that the winds were clocked at 150kph on Bellevarde. Yikes!!! Bloody good effort though Chris!
Anyway, I’ve got a lot done and am looking forward to seeing Karen and Andreas this afternoon at Le Petit Danois. Andreas is making the effort to drive up in these most extreme conditions so do make an effort and come along. Hope to see you there!
Tomorrow doesn’t look much better but fingers crossed!
PS Well done on your school report Katie!!!!!
