Millie and I were invited to the Royal Mid-Surrey yesterday to play golf with Richard and Deborah Finlay. We had a fantastic time but Deborah and Millie clobbered Richard and I and our better-ball match ended on the 16th. It was great to see them both again and thank-you for a brilliant day out.
We have an annual match and Millie filled in for Dave D who is awaiting some medical attention. You were missed Dave and we all wish you the best of luck and hope that you can get out golfing again soon. And skiing as well for that matter!
Millie and I have our Club Championships over the weekend with 36-holes of medal play from the plates. It’s 32 degrees outside at the moment but it is forecast to cool down a little for the weekend. Fingers crossed that the temperature drops because it is brutal out there at the moment! And hopefully I’ll have some good golfing news to report on Monday!!!
