It’s our 20th wedding anniversary today!!! The clue that gave it away was all the hype about the 20th anniversary of 9/11 so I was properly prepared with card, present, and dinner out. Phew, that was close!
I also celebrated my birthday yesterday. I played golf in the morning, was depressed by the cricket in the afternoon, and then went to Fred and Liz’s for an excellent birthday supper. Thanks Nana! We then returned home and I was glued to the final of the Woman’s Solheim Cup. It was a fantastic three days of golf and I’ll be looking forward to the Ryder Cup soon.
Gill and I were woken at 4 am by the sound of flapping wings. It turned out that a bat had made it’s way into our bedroom. The bat was frantically circling about looking for an escape and the poor thing was exhausted by the time it finally found its way out through the narrow window. It was all fairly dramatic and we were incredibly relieved when the bat finally escaped!
I’ve booked my ticket to Canada and will be off September 18th until the 29th so I won’t be able to deal with any ski school planning during that time. If you have dates already please let me know. Thanks and stay tuned!
