It’s also my father-in-law Fred’s birthday today as well. Happy birthday Fred and I’ll see you in May.
I was the only one working today but not the only one on the mountain. It was Jerome’s day off but he was still at the Gourmandine this morning as he was off to do some touring for himself above the Terre Rouge. Bravo Jerome!
My team had a lovely morning in the Pays Desert. (See photos) The wind is slowly starting to stiffen the snow in places but there is still plenty of good skiing. The sun is also starting to work the snow on steep southern exposures or southern slopes at lower altitudes. It won’t be long now before the sun really starts to become a factor.
More sun is forecast for the next few days and we may see some snow on Wednesday. Fingers crossed as we’ll need it by then. Stay tuned!
