Paul’s birthday was actually yesterday but today was his ‘birthday’ ski. And what a morning it was!
We started off with a lovely Cabin before ‘skinning’ to Mont Roup. Mont Roup was totally ‘clean’ and pretty much perfect. Then we skied a fantastic Col Pers, which besides great spring snow offered 15 to 20 powder turns! (See photos) By this time it was one o’clock but because it was so good Chris and I decided on one more. Oh My! was beckoning and it had to be skied. It was excellent and what a finish to another stunning morning!
Today would have been a fitting end to the season. Had it been the last day I would have skied one more because it was there for the taking. Fingers crossed that we have some good luck weather-wise over the weekend. These past six days have been quite special and it would be brilliant to keep it going for two more days.
Karen and Andreas are playing at the Coin des Amis this afternoon starting around 5 o’clock. Unfortunately I won’t be there as I have my copro meeting. Have fun without me and stay tuned!
