The past few days have been about as cold as it gets here. Not Canadian cold by any means but chilly enough. Still, we are staying out all morning without seeking shelter and after all that ridiculously warm weather it’s been nice to have a taste of winter.
Chris, Jerome and I all headed towards the Sache/Sachette and had some great skiing. (see photos) Meanwhile Andreas had a fantastic ‘couloir’ morning skiing his ‘Dog’ couloir in the Chardonnet followed by the Pisteurs.
I skied on my new skis today and can’t tell you how much I’m enjoying them. And everyone keeps telling me that by today’s standards they’re still ‘skinny’. And that pleases me enormously as I have a reputation to live up to! (Adam G now has a pair and he was pretty pleased today as well.)
I’m sitting here willing the Hammers to hang on for a much needed victory, which could kick-start our season. Being in a relegation battle sucks and is incredibly draining and I don’t need the stress or fatigue! Come on boys!
PS And a big Happy Birthday to Francesca Foster. Hope you have a wonderful day and hope to see you soon.
