Jolly Cold!!!

It’s been cold for a week or so but today seemed even colder. A key part of this morning’s mission was to stay as warm as possible. It was jolly cold but we all managed to take the bite out of the conditions and had some good skiing.

We’ve had clear blue skies for so long now that I can’t remember the last time it snowed? With a combination of sun, mountain-trashers, and high winds our job isn’t getting any easier. Still, everyone is enjoying the skiing and pleasantly surprised that every morning is really good fun. Bravo boys and bravo to all the clients who are playing their part during these tricky times.

Millie and Anna are having a fantastic time and it’s so nice to have them here. We’ve had some fantastic meals, (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and the girls were at the Danois last night and are checking out Cocorico’s this afternoon. And, we have a rendezvous with Russell tomorrow at the Danois for Karen and Andreas.

Alpine would like to say a big hello to all our walking wounded. Adam R (knee), Bunny (leg and ankle), Richard F (pelvis), Doug (ribs), and my darling Katie (foot). I may have missed someone and apologise if I have?

I’d like to thank Andreas again for twisting my arm and making me try these Salomon 96’s. They’ve changed my skiing life and have given me back my mojo. I’m thoroughly enjoying my skiing again and a relief to not be spending half my time just trying to protect myself. It’s fun to be having too much fun again!

Stay tuned!

PS And well done Chris B for a solid performance this morning and picking up a ‘skier-of-the-day’award. Bravo Chris!
