I’m slowly preparing for departing on November 22nd to be ready for the opening day on the 24th. So far the snow-cover above 2500 metres looks very good but there isn’t any snow yet below that point. From looking at the webcams there is no sign of any man-made snow so fingers crossed that the temperature drops enough to enable the use of the snow-cannons. There will definitely be skiing up on the glaciers but it’s always a huge bonus when you can ski on perfectly groomed snow to the bottom, especially when the pistes are empty! Twelve days and counting!
