More Snow!!!

It was -10C in the village this morning and -12C on the summit of Bellevarde. Fortunately early on the wind wasn’t a factor so it never felt that cold.

Jean Marc is back in town. He was touring at lower altitude but because of rain he decided to return to Val d’Isere. If there’s no snow here there’s no snow anywhere. Plus his clients have apartments here so that made his decision easier.

It snowed about ten centimeters yesterday afternoon but it cleared up overnight so we didn’t have that much new snow to work with. But the wind has pillowed in some snow in the lee and we had another excellent morning of skiing. The light was pretty flat at times but we did have enough vis to navigate and everyone made the most of it..

Jerry brought along a Canadian friend called Cat and like most Canadian women, the girl could ski. It was great to have you along Cat. Oh Canada!

More snow is forecast this afternoon and into the night ahead so we should have some great skiing again tomorrow.

Stay tuned!

PS What a cracking ‘statement’ victory Arsenal had over Spurs yesterday. The over ‘statement victory was United over City and it’s all heating up. Unfortunately the Hammers are now in serious trouble. The only thing more stressy than eriously flat-light is a relagation battle!
