After three days of stunning sunshine we had some high cloud cover that made for more difficult light but we were still able to ski wherever we wanted. It was a bit of an in-between day as the next three days are forecast to be beautiful with no new snow in sight for the next week. That all spells out ‘walkies’ any way you look at it!
The boys all spread out and made the most of today and it was Olivier’s last day and Jean Marc finishes tomorrow before heading back to the Pyrenees.
Jerry texted me last night to invite me to watch the Southampton v West Ham match at the new bar called the ‘Garage’. Jerry’s pals are all Southampton fans so it was definitely an ‘away’ match. I really enjoyed myself as I’ve rarely seen the Hammers play so positively, they were the first to every 50/50 ball, they muscled the Saints off the ball all night long, they were strong going forward, they defended well and Fabianski made a couple of crucial saves when called into action. Ninth place is a great result at the half-way stage of the season, especially after losing our first four games of the season. Thanks for the invite Jerry!
And a big Happy Birthday to Sylvie. Have a fantastic day with your family and see you soon! Stay tuned!
