I know none of us are taking anything for granted these days. Or ‘counting-our-chickens’, but I’m feeling pretty positive about the upcoming season.
The word in France is that the ski resorts are going to open. Everyone is gearing up for the opening and desperate to make up for lost time. I know that all of you, like everyone at Alpine, is desperate to make up for lost time as well. It shows with the interest as booking are starting to roll in and we’ve had quite a few inquiries from new clients.
After 18-months of some sort lock-down restrictions there will be some changes at Jean Sport this season. Didier and Emily will no longer be running the shop and Didier’s younger brother Nico will be taking over. Nico has worked in the shop over the years and is an excellent ski man. I’m sure he will do a fantastic job with his experience and bubbly personality and he’ll strive to live up to Jean Sports reputation . And we’d like to thank Didier and Emily for all their hard work over the years and their support of Alpine.
Stay tuned for more news and we look forward to the season kicking off November 27th!
