I didn’t have huge expectations this morning and after three cracking days in a row in Tignes I thought I’d stay closer to home and the skiing was much better than expected. Chris Thomas and I skied some great Val ‘classic’s) but just on the sunny side as many slopes haven’t yet transformed and are a frozen mess of tracks that are totally un-skiable. Anyway, it was an excellent morning with some great ambience (see photos) and we got in a ton of skiing but I’m remaining in ‘code-mode’! Meanwhile Andreas was back in action and he headed to Tignes and had a lovely morning as well.
It’s clouding over this afternoon so I might jump in the car and head down to Bourg for a little shopping, pick up some wax for my skis, tank up (as in petrol) and wash the car. Stay tuned!
