Thank You Jean Sports!!!

All the overnight sings pointed towards a really limited and tricky morning. My graphs said warm overnight air temperature and a very minimal freeze.

With fairly low expectations we started off with an excellent L. Being the first people down it skied like perfect spring snow and it was a promising start to the morning. Then I tested the snow off the Laisinant and knew right away that we had some options. We then skied Oh My!, followed by two in the Pays Desert. It was all great skiing and much more than we had anticipated. And to top it off the pistes down from the Glacier were as good as they get for this time of year. It was another really good morning and now we’ve only one left!

Alpine would like to thank Jean Sports and the Ughetto family for a great season in the shop. We’ve been with Jean Sports now for nearly thirty years and it’s been a fantastic partnership over the years.

I thought the new team of Nicko, Serge, Laurence, Alex, Remy, Sam, and Clemence did a great job during their first season. We are all looking forward to the future with the new team as we both move forward. And it’s nice to know that Jean and Nicole aren’t too far away and are still involved.

And thanks to Jean Sports for a lovely end-of-season BBQ this afternoon! (see photos)

Karen and Andreas’s gig went really well yesterday afternoon. I sadly missed it as I had a copro meeting. Ed and Jamie are playing this afternoon at the Coin for those of you looking for some live music.

One day and counting. Stay tuned!

PS Happy Belated Birthday Thomas!
