It’s not getting any easier out there but the boys are doing a great job finding great skiing with variation. I’m still in ‘code-mode’ so I won’t give too much away but Simon is incredibly good at playing ‘where’s Wayne’ and he usually emails me the correct answer. Today I skied something I’ve never done before although I’ve been eyeballing it for about three years waiting for the right moment, which turned out to be today. We had some excellent snow and great ambience and now that I’ve done it there are a couple more possibilities. Chris followed me down about 30 minutes later with two young lads who are 13 years-old and it was their first day off-piste! Bravo boys! And well done to Michael R for a great effort on the ‘skin’!
Ray took Katie and I to the Petit Danois for a Viking Burger today, and it was a huge plate of food and pretty good value. Speaking of the Danois, we’re instigating our first Friday Alpine après-ski get-together this Friday. We’ll get started around five o’clock and Andreas and Karen will be playing at it each Friday for the rest of the season. A regular end-of-the-week get-together of all the Alpine clients should be really good fun and Andreas and Karen are brilliant together. Great idea Jerry!
Stay tuned for more news tomorrow and we wish you all a very Happy New Year! And as Rob Cochran used to say, ” Don’t make any promises that your body can’t keep!”
PS Poor Millie has been ill all day and didn’t ski and has had to cancel her babysitting tonight. She feels bad about it as she didn’t want to let anyone down. Hope you feel better soon Mils!
