There was some thin cloud cover today that diluted the sunshine and it was jolly chilly first thing as the sun was missing a little bit of its power. The cloud made for slightly flatter light but it was nothing serious and we enjoyed another fantastic ski with extremely high quality snow. Chris, Thomas and I opened with the Tour du Charvet via TJ’s Shoulder and it was superb top-to-bottom! We then headed up Solaise and ‘skinned’ for five minutes to access some clean snow in the Arcelle sector and we had another wonderful run. After pushing out from the Charvet about five times during the past couple of days we stopped at Chez Sam’s (resto for the sports centre during the summer) and after a coffee we were towed back across the flats behind a mini-rat-track, which was fun and a first. Pietro, JM and Oli were all out there today as well and I’m in ‘code-mode’ about their morning as I’m planning on heading that way tomorrow!
The Guinea Pigs are playing tomorrow night at 5 o’clock at the Petit Danois and Andreas and Karen aren’t playing this Friday. Andreas may come up to watch the Pigs with me so come along and enjoy Hugo and Paul.
Thanks to Johnnie Alpine for another great meal and football last night, and I think Chris might even be starting to become a fan! Stay tuned!
