Tough But Good!!!

We awoke to high winds and flat-light but at least it snowed about 5 cm’s overnight and the fresh cushion helped enormously. With poor visibility and not enough snow to fill in the tracks a cover tricky snow we skied a combination of piste mixed with some off-piste shots here and there. It continued to snow during the morning and by noon there was enough new snow to make a difference as JM and I had a great run off the Mattis. We will definitely have a fresh canvas by tomorrow morning and if we get some decent vis we should be in for a cracking day. Even if the sun doesn’t come out tomorrow the flat-light skiing will be easier than it was this morning! (see today’s photos)

Katie had a fantastic time at the O2 last night and with Taylor Swift closing the show with 9 songs she went home extremely happy! Millie was extremely jealous but she does get to see her in Hyde Park next summer on her birthday. (I wish I had a ticket!)

I’ve painting to do before heading to the gym and then on to Johnnie Alpine’s for Aberdeen Angus steaks and West Ham v Arsenal. Come on you Hammers! Stay tuned!

PS Thanks very much to Derek, Peter and Clive for a great meal last night and it is blowing and snowing a hoolie this afternoon!!!
