Millie, Katie, Gill and I drove down to Exeter on Sunday to check out the University. We left early and it was a stunning drive with everyone getting a chance to chose the music. After looking around Exeter we headed to Bath to have a look at the Uni there and we had a brilliant day. I’ve never really looked around Bath before and I must say it’s a jolly interesting place. Thankfully the weather was kind and it was a really good family-day out.
Last weekend Millie and I drove up to Birmingham in the most horrendous weather. It was chucking it down around the M25 and up the M40 with the windscreen wipers going full belt and too many cars on the road for such a nasty day. Millie’s golf-pal Sophie, who is a student there, kindly showed us around and even with the wet weather we still managed to have a great day out. Thanks very much Sophie! (I’ve posted a few photos)
I had a few e-mails about our website being down and it turned out to be a little blip while we were changing servers. It’s nice to know that some of you are actually logging on and thanks for the heads-up!
Stay tuned for more news and photos soon!
PS The Office of Tourism in Val d’Isere has finally added a Covid page if you’re interested in what they are planning. It all sounds promising on paper but we need some help from Boris. Fat chance of that unfortunately!
