It was extremely warm today so Chris and I were heading up to altitude at the Fornet but after having a chat with Thomas we changed our minds and started towards the Grande Motte. However, with the thought of crowds combined with a positive snow test on the top of the Borsat the next thing we knew we were heading towards the Crete du Genepy and Mont Roup and although the snow was warm it was a great outing and we certainly didn’t see many other skiers. I’m not too sure what Thomas skied as he had a 9:30 start and Henry is on-piste this week.
Millie and Katie took care of their pal Josh today while Suzanne had Lillie and Faye, who are skiing for their first time. They had a brilliant time and absolutely love Suzanne and can hardly wait to get back at it tomorrow! Millie and Katie have taken them all out this afternoon and I hope they’re more responsible than I was at the age!
I’m heading to the Danois to meet Pav at 5 o’clock and see Ed and Jamie play so maybe see you there, plus planning on watching the first-half of Man U v Chelsea tonight at the Garage with Katie and Josh. There is no shortage of music and football this week and I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully we’ll get a few centimetres of snow tonight. Stay tuned!
PS The floods in England are horrific and the BBC has some footage of the river in Guildford, which is quite frightening. It’s not a good time to be owning river-front property and way too many people are going to be affected!
