It was another of those days where at 7AM it didn’t look all that rosie! But, like so often the morning turned out so much better than anyone expected. In fact, I thought considering the lack of options it was an excellent ski! (See photos)
After some time off Andreas was back in action today with Thierry. They had a great morning together and skied Mickey’s Ears and the Chardonnet. Welcome back Andreas!
Millie has some new skis so she took the morning off to have piste blast. Mags and I missed her but she’ll be back tomorrow. I wanted to try her new boards so she and I went out for a little ski this afternoon. It’s been so long since I’ve skied on strong piste skis that I found it a little intimidating at first! (Mils skied on my Blizzard 85’s (178cm’s) and she really liked them.) My legs were killing me by the end!
We are expecting a big snowfall tomorrow with up to 50 cm’s. High winds are also expected at altitude and with the resort packed out it could be an interesting morning. I’d gladly take 15 cm’s without wind but that’s not going to happen. And I guess beggars can’t be choosers!
Stay tuned!
