I arrived yesterday after 721 miles of driving! Needless to say I was pretty happy to arrive and it was wonderful to be in my French home again. I haven’t been back since March 17th 2020 so it’s been way too long!
Chris and I drove down to Bourg today and with the sun shining the scenery was outstanding. We did some shopping and dealt with some insurance issues and had coffee and croissant. It was lovely to watch the French go about their daily business and it’s so nice to be back. (I’d forgotten was a brilliant supermarket Super U is !!!)
This afternoon Chris and I went for a walk on Le Balcon instead of going to the gym. I’ve posted some photos so do have a look. We then stopped by Jean Sports to say hello. The shop is looking fantastic and I’ve taken a photos of the team in front of our new office. From left to right it’s moi, Nicole, Nico, Laurence, Jean, Alex and Serge. It was great to see them all again and to meet Laurence and Alex.
Karen and Andreas are playing tonight at the opening of the Danois at 6:30. Ignore that 8 to 9 rubbish I posted the other day!
