What A Day!!!

I’ve had some really good things happen to me over the past week.

First off, Andreas got me to try some new skis and a change of equipment has given me a new lease on skiing. I’ve gone from being depressed and embarrassed about my skiing to feeling like a skier again! I can’t tell you what a difference it’s made and I’m thoroughly enjoying myself again. Thanks Andreas!

Secondly Thomas organised the repair on my car. I haven’t used it since November 20th when I nursed it down from Calais. It’s had a reconditioned gear box and it felt great on the drive to Chambery and back this morning.

Thirdly, after two years of stress it looks like my CDS is being processed in Paris. I took the day off to go to Chambery this morning to collect my recepisse, which is an extension to my extension. I noticed that it expires February 27th and the lady said, “don’t worry, your card is being made in Paris!” Music to my ears! That means I should be good for another ten years!

And to top it all off during the past ten days we’ve enjoyed some absolutely stunning skiing.

The visibility was pretty good today and I think all the boys had another really good morning. I haven’t heard too much about it but I have total faith in all of them to deliver!

After my first rest day since November 26th I’ll be ready to go again in the morning. Stay tuned!

PS And Canadian Brooke Henderson won the first event of the year on the LPGA. Oh Canada!
